A - Z of Biggles Bar & Grill

A: Atlantic Salmon

Fresh Atlantic Salmon is a new meat option available on the Grill menu! Served sous-vide style for maximum flavour and accompanied by natural jus, truss tomatoes, parmesan crusted potato gratin and onion rings, the Atlantic Salmon makes for a drool-worthy new addition to the menu.


B: Biggles

Our namesake comes from a cartoon book series based on a fictional pilot named James Bigglesworth. First appearing in 1932, Biggles featured in his comic series until 1969 and now oversees our bar in the form of shining metal.


C: Curry

Our Executive Chef Alok is a specialist at curries! There are two new curries on the Biggles Bar Menu - Chicken Tikka Masala & Spinach and Chickpea (V), both served with naan, papadum, raita and rice. Yum!

D: Daily Specials

$15 specials are available every day of the week and include items like Chicken Schnitzel, Fish & Chips, T-bone steaks and Tandoori Chicken Breast. Make it an extra special meal by adding a glass of house wine or schooner of beer for only $3!


E: Eat!

Need we say more? Dine at Biggles Bar in Mascot, you won't regret it.


F: Fish & Chips

One of our most popular menu items is good old Fish & Chips - particularly on a Saturday when it's on the Daily Specials menu for only $15!


G: Guilty Bites

Eat your heart out from the Guilty Bites menu, including deep-fried and salty favourites like Waffle Potato Nachos, Vegetable Pakora, Salt & Pepper Squid and Garlic Bread.

H: Healthy Meals

It is often said that it is hard to keep to your health and fitness routine while traveling, but throw in a quick session at our hotel gym plus a healthy meal at Biggles Bar and you'll be that step closer to hitting your goal even while on the road.


I: Ice Cream

Time for dessert? Finish off your meal with a scoop of ice-cream for only $3.

J: Jus

Did you know that Jus is just another name for a sauce that comes from meat juices? You'll taste it on any item from the Grill Menu, as the meat is prepared sous vide style for maximum flavour retention when cooking.


K: Kids Menu

Kids dine free at Biggles Bar if they are a guest of the hotel. Select from the healthy Kids Menu, with local and international favourites including DIY Falafels, Fish & Chips, available upon request from the bar.


L: Leaf Me in the Garden Salad

Not your typical garden salad.


M: Mango & Lemon Panna Cotta

If you like a bit of jiggle, this dessert is for you. With a natural bounce and smooth texture, you'll be making heart eyes the whole time you're devouring it.


N: Nibbles

W: Walnut & Date Slice

A new dessert recently added to the Biggles Bar menu, the Walnut & Date slice has been an absolute hit, finding the balance between a sweet treat and nutritious ingredients.


X: XXXX Gold

Did someone say beer? A well-known Australian beverage, XXXX Gold is brewed and manufactured in Queensland. Hot tip: it's best matched with big blue skies, sun-drenched days, good chats and great mates.


Y: Ya' Makin' Mo'roccan Salad

In a recent interview about the new Biggles Bar menu, our Head Chef Alok mentioned that this was his FAVOURITE DISH on the new menu. With chermoula spiced pumpkin, vegetables and freekeh, splashed with a sweet mustard dressing, this Moroccan inspired dish is a healthy
